Great podcast

With this podcast wrapping up, I want to share my appreciation to the host, gorgeous Ms. Raquel Willis, and all other guests who shared their insight, experiences, wellness practices and spoken truth throughout this series. As a QWOC, this podcast was a saving grace & one of the few spaces I was able to escape my daily reality to receive affirmation of my existence & beliefs. Thank you to everyone that contributed to this effort. 💕 Paz y Luz

Black Women are going to SAVE THE WORLD

Short version: Great way for white folks to practice ignoring our fragile egos and LISTEN to the informed experiences and perspectives that we need to start respecting if we want this world to be a better place. Long version:I'm a white, cisgender, mostly-hetero millennial woman from Ohio. After moving to a notably progressive, but still quite segregated, city I decided to download some podcasts hosted by black folks. I had to stop the first episode I listened to halfway in to give a 5 star review. These women are smart and insightful. I love their brains and their souls, and I no longer need to worry about what will happen when bell hooks goes leaves us for shero heaven. I truly believe that women of color are going to save the world.

So Good, New Favorite

I'm so happy I found this podcast it's really good, witty, and sarcastic, which I love. If you can't handle black thoughts, black opinions, black ideas then clearly this is not for you so please return to the land of privilege. Moving on, I look forward to catching up on all the episodes! Good luck with the show.

Important topics, excellent discussion

This is a great podcast discussing issues that are affecting our communities, cities, and country as a whole. We Americans need to be talking more about these issues and this podcast provides a great jumping off point for these conversations. Mia McKenzie is a great host. Well done so far and I look forward to more great episodes!
