It’s ok

I really do enjoy his topics. I also enjoy listening to him as a presenter. However, he must feel a need to “dumb it down” for us. It’s not necessary to explain in every way possible a scenario to get the point across. For example, you don’t need to say “no one ever expected this. Not her mom, her dad, her great uncle, her 3rd cousin, not in their wildest dreams, not in their wildest nightmares, etc..” We get it. Just move on and tell the story! It seems a little theatrical at times. I do love and respect the heck out of Dr Phil though!!

Repetitive sentences

Dr Phil repeats himself way.to.much. Had to stop listening after 10 mins into S3 Ep3. Googled the lady to find out the results.

Aug 21st Analyst by Dr Phil

I would question if she really cut herself. If it is possible that she was hit in the jaw then hung it is very possible she never cut herself.

Love the content but...

Every single podcast is full of plugs for Robin’s skin care line. Over and over and over.

Love it.

I love his podcast, and I love the way his speak. He doesn’t speak to fast and his podcasts are very helpful, by trying to understand the motive behind action. Yes sometimes it can be repetitive, but nothing’s perfect. Am really hooked, thank you from Canada.

Meh

I've listened to many podcasts and I was very sucked at how horribly this one was written, edited and told. I really expected a lot more. I've liked watching Dr. Phil on TV but this podcast doesn't do him any good.

Compelling

I’m only 3 episodes in, but I like Dr Phil’s delivery style and his analysis. I find it very listenable and not at all ‘repetitive’ as some reviews have mentioned. This show is being added into my podcast rotation for definite. Could do without his commercials for his wife’s skincare line(🙄really?!) but apart from that, count me in.

Riveting listening

Absolutely loved listening to each one of each series and eagerly anticipating the next (hurry up!!)....most of my working life has been spent in the field of crime in one way or another and I find I am absorbing so much more than I ever knew from another perspective. Huge respect Dr. Phil.

Could be good

The stories being told are very interesting. I wish that it wasn’t as repetitive. Not every detail is important or interesting, and we don’t need to hear it 3 times.

Fabulous but annoying at the same time

I love Dr Phil and his narrative but these podcasts are too repetitive. Maybe cut them down and get to the point. You keep repeating what’s happened and we already know all the details.I’d rather listen to less episodes than all the repetition.I’ll always keep listening as they are fabulous but PLEASE stop repeating the same facts. It’s like you think we’re a bit simple and can’t retain information. No offence, as I said the actual storyline and narrative is top shelf. Gypsy Rose was heartbreaking but a fantastic podcast. Much love to her and her family xx

Good stories, but it takes far too long to get there.

The stories are good, but Dr Phil, you take far too long to get through these stories, repeating things over and over. I often fast forward a lot and don’t miss anything.
