Informative and entertaining
This is one of my favorite podcasts! If you’re not locked into a narrow doctrine of reality that doesn’t allow for questions, you may also really enjoy these well-researched examinations of strange phenomena and events. Each episode is deeply researched, with full coverage from both sides of the philosophical fence, and friendly banter from Scott and Forrest. I feel almost like I’ve gotten to sit on their couch and listen in on some of the most interesting discussions. I love it so much, I joined their Patreon to help support their in-depth research, which they’re very transparent about both in the podcast and in their Patreon and other social media. Highly recommend!

Ok but…
I actually really like the topics and most of the stuff but I have one personal gripe that causes me to give 3 stars. One of the host really really really likes to hear himself talk. I’m not sure why but it’s like he’s trying to make himself sound smarter. Maybe not but that’s what it sounds like to me. Drives me crazy where in the middle of a story we get a long monologue that should take seconds and will go on for 5 minutes.

The most in depth research on the strange and supernatural
I’m obsessed with this podcast, the hosts are so lovable and have really fun chemistry together and extremely interesting perspectives on the topics they cover. They do tons of research and give you the fullest story possible about topics from the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film, the Bell Witch, the Somerton Man, the Dyatlov Pass incident, crop circles, and hundreds more. I’m excited every time they drop a new one. Highly recommend!

I like it... quite a bit.
I'm late to the cast.... The hosts are witty and provide stories in an interesting manner. You can hear the fun that they are having and it is infectuous to the listeners. What more could I ask for? Nothing that I can think of. It keeps me smiling while I do my artwork. Thanks to the entire Astonishing Legends team. -db

Fantastic discussions and fascinating topics ranging from interesting (Gobekli Tepe) to downright creepy (Black Eyed Children). Also, humble and thorough hosts and great production quality. They’ve really built a community around what they do, too!

Best put together podcast
Best put together podcast out there if you like all the strange stuff, ufo’s oops I mean uap’s , cryptids, ghosts and all the unexplained. My favorite podcast so far. Very well put together and easy to listen to these guys.

So flippin good!
Many of my favorite podcasters casually mention “Astonishing Legends” on a regular basis. I don’t know what took me so long to give a listen. ??? Maybe because I MUST listen to episodes in chronological order & the podcast began in 2014 so I assumed the audio quality would be iffy. Well, it isn’t. It’s fantastic & perfect. Now I have almost 9 years of back catalogued episodes to binge. I am nothing if not an addict & binger. I love the conversational tone of the podcast. It’s a great blend of fact/research + speculation/opinion. Thanks to Dan Cummins from “Timesuck” & Christine Shieffer from “And That’s Why We Drink” for continuing to reference “Astonishing Legends”. My slow-on-the-uptake self never would’ve found this wealth of entertainment without them.

Fantastic quality content with pleasant vibe delivered by good dudes
Considerable thought & research from friends who are great at talking, and plus they truly make their listeners feel welcome. The idea that there are ether intelligences that can mess with us but there’re not omnipowerful... this idea came up discussing Mothman & Mr Cold: this intrigued me heaps & tons ! Appreciate you Forrest, Tess, & Scott !
