Thank you!

I, like I’m sure a lot of people are, have been struggling lately with my mental health. Listening to you guys really puts my mind at ease. Like I’m listening to two of my friends!

Have a casual deep thought

I adore this model for a podcast. I appreciate how informed Alyssa and Sam are and how they’re not afraid to approach sensitive topics with respect but also ease. Keep it up, y’all are doing great!!

Not Connecting

I am in love with the concept of this podcast and I appreciate the heavy topics of discussion, but I just cannot connect with Alyssa or Sam. I do appreciate Sam’s ability to remove herself and her own personal experiences to look at a situation from someone else’s perspective. I am a 25 year old woman so I feel as if I am in their audience age bracket, yet I feel so much older than them. It might be the constant use of “like” or the excessive dwelling about their feelings, but I find it hard to sit through a podcast even though I really want to listen to their discussion surrounding a specific topic.

Relatable and Entertaining

I found this podcast via YouTube, and I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by how entertaining I found this! Both of these woman are opinionated but push themselves to be understanding of others they may not initially agree with. Listening to it right now, during our stay at home order has given me so much company! Thanks❤️

Lost interest

I like the dynamic between Alyssa and Sam, but after a couple seasons I just lost interest in what they had to say. I honestly just don’t find it that interesting for two young people to share their opinions about things they haven’t done real research on (spending an hour reading random websites is not research). It would be nice to have more guests, especially experts. I also feel like their production is geared toward the YouTube recordings rather than the pure podcast format. It is nice when they tackle subjects you rarely hear discussed, though, and I like the honesty and vulnerability. But I’m just not super interested anymore.

I love you guys. I really do. I love your YouTube channels. I love your personalities. You talk about fun things. You discuss hard to talk about things. I do love you. But I need the two of you to not use the word “like” as filler. As I am stuck at the office with nothing to do, I tallied the use of the word “like” in ten minutes. 155. I’ll even remove 20 “likes” for times it’s appropriate to use. It’s still over 100. Which mean you’re using it every 3-4 seconds. I know you ladies are articulate. But it doesn’t sound like it when you’re using filler words such as “like” and “stuff like that.” 🤷🏽‍♀️

ECG VS EKG

They are the same thing. It comes down to the speaking both of which are considered correct. Also I love the podcast! Best part of the week. I love to listen to it while I workout, it gives me motivation.

Good but loud

Me and my boyfriend love the show but I think Alyssa is a lot closer to her mic than Sam is, whenever Sam talks we have to turn up the volume then Alyssa talks and it’s too loud lol

Most Relatable Podcast

I absolutely love these ladies. I am around the same age as them, and I couldn’t relate more. I love how they cover topics that others may be too afraid to tackle just yet. And they do so with grace, humor, and understanding. It’s certainly “approachable.” :) Love Alyssa and Sam!

Love these ladies

I look forward to Wednesday’s to listen to the two of them. They just make me feel heard somehow, even though I am the one listening to them. Listening is like sitting with my own friends and talking about life. ❤️

What’s not to love?

This podcast really dives deep into topics that are typically hard to discuss and they really make it “approachable” hence the name obviously. They’re both so enjoyable to listen to, and are open and honest about themselves and their experiences. I love everything about this podcast and obviously Sam and Alyssa ❤️❤️

Always excited for everything they put out!

This is by far my favourite podcast. The name is a perfect description of how the pair approach and discuss topics that are difficult, taboo, raw, emotional, and incredibly meaningful regarding where we are in society and life today. It is inspiring to see women supporting women, and to hear about the highs and lows in these women’s lives as friends and individuals. I feel that most people tend not to open up about the hardships they have faced nor do they discuss their innermost thoughts. Somehow Sam and Alyssa have created a space where they speak and discuss things in thoughtful and meaningful ways that at the same time is so beautifully unfiltered. It leaves you feeling as if you just had a heart to heart or passionate discussion about the things you care about with one of your friends. I’ll always look forward to the content they put out. I think others will feel exactly the same !

Beautiful.

This podcast is very raw but in a very articulate and beautiful way. These two souls are true role models; in a very humbling and nontraditional fashion. The reason it’s nontraditional is because they’re not “mothers” (yet), they’re not the typical idol from a movie you fell in love with as a kid. They’re humans too and these two girls are true artists in the way that they speak, the way that they hold themselves and the way they take the risks of opening up day to day and pour themselves into whatever their topics are for the viewers/listeners. -Not all heroes wear capes, some are disguised in oversized sweatshirts with a slicked back ponytail or have beautiful long reddish hair. These two gals are where it’s at for VERY normal topics that get glazed over far too often. Big fan, ladies. :-)
