Too rushed. I’m out.

The narrator is forced to speak too quickly. Slow down and create more episodes. Too hectic for me.

I Get It Now!

I have always loved history, but I have not always been able to grasp political perspectives in history. I started listening to the Cold War series and I finally understood the circumstances around it and how everything ties together. It was engaging and fascinating in so many way. Thank you for making history come alive and make sense.

Entertaining and educational

This is one of the best podcasts in my library. It is extremely entertaining all while being very educational on historical subjects we should all know about. I’m learning so much.. much more than I learned in history class. Highly recommended!

Imagine it’s 1929 and you’re in New York City....

When this podcast starts with these type of intros get ready for a vivid journey to the past. Recreations dot each episode along with dramatic music, actual news recordings, and well researched and informative historical podcast. There are enough interesting topics to keep you listening. Even topics I thought seemed uninteresting are so well presented I couldn’t stop listening!

Kentucky history well described!

My husband and I loved this podcast. I’m a descendant from Hugh White and while I had a lot of information regarding the salt mines, I learned a little more about the politics of those mines. Thank you so much!

The legacy of the triangle

Overall I have enjoyed all theses podcasts great basic story about different historical occurrences that the average person would not know about. Have to say very disappointed this time with the interview episode. One factor I like about these podcasts is they stay away from politics but not this time. Dealing with employees making less then $15 and hour, comparing the U.S. employment to the rest of the world. Stay away from politics or include an interview with someone with the opposite opinion. There are many answers to why unions are going away in this country and why burger flipping does not deserve a higher wage. Just present both sides or stay away from it completely. I listen to podcasts to be entertained not to be involved in politics.

Love this podcast!!!

I’ve just discovered Wondery podcasts with Lindsey Graham (not the senator) telling stories of history. For anyone who loves learning and especially listening to stories of the history of this country, you will want to listen to every podcast that Lindsey Graham hosts. He has a fantastic voice for telling stories, and brings historical times and persons to life with rich details and imagery. I have always loved history and these many seasons covering an array of times and events, is pure heaven.

Captivating

I found this podcast this past spring and listened to an episode, I was hooked. I went and downloaded all the past shows as well as subscribed to future ones. I am just finishing up the Tulsa Race Masacure. I have never been so caught up in a non visual event this much before. I feared for the residents of Greenwood as if I was there. Way to go. This one should be made into a movie or something

No female narrators...?

Love the podcast but wish there were females playing the female roles. It takes away from the fun of the storytelling when you just hear men’s voices the whole time.
