Only listened once

One guy commentator kept interrupting the interviewee and seemed defensive every time his beloved technologies weren’t considered the best option. It became super distracting to listen to and disconnected the flow of the discussion.

Just shooting the breeze?

I stopped after hearing 10 minutes of small talk which is really unhelpful to me.

Poorly executed

Came back to this show only to discover that is hardly has anything to do with JavaScript anymore, it features unvetted fake experts, and the host constantly interjects with stories about him. Also, the ads are prerecorded, you DO have a chance to edit them just a bit. The host is too lazy to edit the ads and fix misspoken words, then that says something about quality.

Outstanding podcast for a commuting developer

I have enjoyed all three episodes that I have downloaded so far. Looking forward to catching up on more missed episodes. Well done

It's ok

There are just too many episodes to keep up and it gets pretty technical.

Turned into an advertisement for Microsoft

Had interesting variety of topics for a while. Now seems like every episode is about Microsofts new products. There's got be more going on in the JS world besides visual studio.

Decent

They definitely feature some heavy hitters if you're looking for important insights. But the experience of the show itself leaves a lot to be desired. You would think after being at it for so long, they would have improved the sound quality or even the legibility of the show notes. Little things like that can be frustrating.

So good

This is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. It has been really good with helping me learn new topics in web development as well as understand the general happenings in the scene as well since i am new to web development. It is really nice being able to listen while on the train to and from dev mountain. The personalities are great and a lot of the guests are really helpful and informative.

Great for beginners who want a lay of the land

I assume it's great for people with a lot of js experience also because the panelists don't hesitate to go in depth on topics. Anyway, I'm just starting out and this podcast is an entertainingly for me to really get the lay of the land. It's satisfying to understand more and more of what they talk about as I keep listening and learning on my own. My one wish is that every conversation would include a 2-minute description of what exactly the thing they're talking about does. Sometimes they do that and sometimes they don't.

Listen if you want to learn the cons of coding boot camps

Great podcast but pushes boot camps way too much. For example, when boot camp graduates on the show sometimes struggle with simple stuff that's taught in a 4-year school.
