Love it All!

Love the intro music. My 15-yo plays electric guitar. He loves golf. And he wants to be a pilot. And he benefits from Brandy’s mentoring here on this podcast. Also love your intensives and classes. You help to hold up my arms when I feel weary or worried. Thank you Brandy. And the music helps me to smile and move!

The music distracts me too.

(I can't help but notice that most all of the classical CM's podcasts' music are similar and very distracting.) Please don't attribute bad will, but these are my honest thoughts. First and foremost the episodes are too long. I'm sorry, but my habit of attention can only handle so long. Maybe consider shortening? Also, I don't agree with a lot of the interpretations of Mason's words. This is especially the case whenever I hear Karen Glass speak too. I completely see Art Middlekauff's point about interpretation through the lens of our biases. I know the majority of your audience wouldn't agree with me, and that's ok. I just can't help but fell sad (because I personally am affected by this) for all the confusion that exist in the CM community over so many people's interpretations of Mason's words. New moms to the Method, like me, drown under all the the conflicting CM views/implementations out there. I know Aftercasts and all the Classical CM crowd mean well, but boy is it confusing. I just find the substance of the "other 2 CM podcasts" so much more informative. Although I must say that I enjoyed the episode with Art Middlekauff very much.

Great content but music is really distracting.

Love the topics and information but would be thrilled to not have to fast forward through the loud music.

Love the content....

But please consider changing the music. It doesn’t fit the classical content that should be encouraging and calming, peaceful etc. Music preferences are subjective but I don’t want to feel that I’m at a rock concert when I listen to your show. It’s distracting. That said - I’ll keep listening because I need the advice and sharpening as a home school mama. Thanks !

Wonderful

I’ve been reading the Afterthoughts blog for years, and this is a welcome change. It’s so nice to be able to listen while doing dishes or folding laundry.

Love this!

This is great. I don't always have time to sit still and read the blog, so this is great for me. Her intro music was very surprising and fun! I like it. Very helpful to learn about Charlotte Mason's philosophies. Thanks for this.
