Rev. Jim Keat talks with Rev. Bertram Livingston and Maria Bido about the Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fundraiser happening on Friday, October 6 at The Riverside Church starting at 8:00 p.m. Over the last few weeks, the peoples and islands of the Caribbean were devastated by the most powerful hurricanes and tropical storms in recent history. Residents who have suffered tremendous losses – homes, infrastructure, and even loved-ones – have started to rebuild their communities. But, countries on the front lines of climate change should not and cannot bear this burden alone. On Friday, October 6, please join The Riverside Church for a night of compassion and action for people living in the aftermath these storms. We are partnering with Church World Service to send financial support to organizations equipped to make an immediate impact throughout the Caribbean. Our fundraising dinner has been generously donated by Melba’s with desserts given by Sprinkle Splash. The night will also feature dancing, live music, and performers like Bharati Dance, I Love Dance, The Riverside String Orchestra, live painter Uriah Marcellus, and more. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased by visiting www.trcnyc.org/CaribbeanHurricaneRelief Theme music: Quittin' Time by Patrick Lee
