Captivating whilte respectful

This is a great series covering one of the biggest murder mysteries in modern time while keeping very respectful to teh victims, their families, and their memory.

Content is great, delivery and production is not

This podcast is full of great, well-researched information. The hosts clearly spend a lot of time doing their due diligence and care about the subjects of the cases they cover. However, the delivery and production makes it so, so hard for me to listen. The dialogue is jilted and doesn’t flow naturally, and the sound quality is poor. I find I can’t focus enough to really gather information from episodes because it just isn’t a captivating listen.

I really wanted to like this Pod.

I have heard of this story since I moved to Indy in 2000. Heard about this podcast from MFM. I gave up on this pod after 6 or 7 episodes. The sound quality is poor, the hosts have no personality, and it sounds as they are reading from a script.

It gets better and better...

It’s gonna be a long night as I can’t help but want to binge listen to all the episodes in one sitting! Great job with meticulous details, especially detailing all the other crimes in the area at this time. This podcast is addicting for sure.

Interesting case. Poor production quality.

The podcast is well informed and deep dives into the murders. But the hosts’ delivery is stiff, monotonous, and obviously slowly reading a script, plus the audio quality is very poor for one of them. It made it a chore to listen too, despite the fact I was interested in the content.

Genuine

Sure the audio isn’t world class. But they’re not out to entertain. They’re out make a difference. Great reporting. Great intentions.

These guys give a hoot

This is seriously refreshing. These people actually give a hoot. I obviously don’t want to say hoot but you know what I mean. Watch them solve a case because they actually care about making a difference!

I wanted to like this

I wanted to like the podcast, I really did. This case is a great, compelling cold case to work with. Unfortunately, the hosts are monotonously reading from poorly written scripts and fail to engage the listener.

Compelling case, responsible reporting

Super interesting and compelling case. The reporting is so earnest that it never feels exploitative, voyeuristic, or opportunistic like most true crime podcasts do. The production quality and scripting could def be improved. Great job by the hosts in their responsible and sincere research and reporting.
