Attention developer

Love this podcast but it only plays to half way through then stops and won’t play last half ... on all episodes. Tested on multiple devices and accounts. Contacted Apple support, they helped me test and confirmed it’s not me, something is wrong with your podcast. Hope this helps

Uninformed Discussion and Subpar Guests

I commend the idea of this podcast covering news stories Canada-wide, but it just does such a bad job of it. The discussion never seems well-informed. Ex, in the most recent episode on antisemitism, hateful and inciting language is explicitly considered a problem of Canadians listening to FOREIGN populists and far-right political parties, without any mention of how our domestic far-right landscape (eg. the Rebel, Gavin mcinness’ proud boys, etc) punch way above their weight in these international movements, and the only time they’re given in the episode is as a threat to the poor conservative politician who gets too cozy to them. The framing of that discussion in particular requires a ridiculous lack of rigour and self-awareness.Besides that, the guests are hit and miss. Treating the editor-in-chief of the Toronto Sun as though it is in any way reputable in 2018 is at best irresponsible, but at worst a sign of a media atmosphere that is more willing to associate with a consistently incorrect agenda-driven tabloid than to rise above and deliver news and commentary.

Get better guests

I can't believe in only doing 1/2 episodes a week, they can't find credible guests who offer informed or relative opinions. Not just s guy from the newsroom. I expected better journalism from this company

Great show, great host. Horrible audio

I’d like to start of by saying that this a great show. All the news from all provinces in a timely fashion. Great host. But you can only enjoy this if you are listening on Dolby Atmos system. The editor is so lazy, doesn’t even bother to match the audio levels. The guests always have an awfully low audio compared to the host. It’s the editors job to listen to the audio and increase the volume whenever the guest speak. But fail. Always fail on audio.

Love the in depth focus.

Thank you! I've been living abroad for 3 years and shamefully lost track of most Canadian news. The Pipeline episode was such a great cover of the issue. Looking forward to the next episodes!

Great news podcast

Love the focus of one topics per episode. Everybody should give the show a sub and a listen. Knowledgeable guests and an entertaining host makes for happy ears.
