Vanity Fair
Just read a piece in Vanity Fair about Prince Harry doing mushrooms at Courtney Cox’s house. “Harry then recalled that Cox invited more people over, including an unnamed individual who Harry identified as an actor from the “Batman Lego movie.” The royal explained that after asking the actor to say something as Batman, he obliged “in perfect gravelly Batmanese sa[ying]: ‘Hello, Harry,’” The actor then led him and his friend to Cox’s fridge to get a soft drink where they spotted “black diamond mushroom chocolates.”Clearly the staff at VF has to listen to SmartLess! Well done Will!

Eh
It’s okay and they get really good guests, but I’d like them to stop talking so much. I used to listen every week but now it’s a last resort podcast and I haven’t finished an episode in months. Sean always asks the best questions but then Will and Jason make fun of him and shut him up. It’s really uncomfortable and makes me feel like the guests could be uncomfortable, too. To be mid story and suddenly having Will make fun of Sean for being gay and it’s supposed to be funny? Will seems to just talk to talk (his main subjects are making fun of Sean, being from Canada, and his ex wife being hilarious and successful) and Jason is too long winded to make sense. Yet, somehow Sean is the one who is made fun of? Sometimes Will and Jason talk so much you can forget there’s a guest and Sean with them. The guests are impressive but hardly diverse. Normally just famous white men. If it’s not someone they’ve met the “interview” will be especially cringy.

She said a real Jason Bateman vibe
Went to a friends 50th bday party recently and one of her friends says "you know who you remind me of?" I say "Brad Pitt." Matter of factly like I always do because I get that a lot. And she chuckles and says "No. I'm getting a real Jason Bateman vibe." And I say "Really?" And then I say,"is that a compliment?" And she says kinda all sultry like " oh yeah". Again I say"Really?" Is this the moment it all ended for me?

Can be quite good but…
….enough with the relentless brown nosing. At times I feel it should be called “Asskiss”. That said, largely good, informative and entertaining.

Normally….
I love this show. I love Wil and Jason from Arrested on…. But start to read your guests better. Some don’t play into the act. I really wanted to hear Fraser talk and you guys dominated with your usual banter. Typically funny and welcome. In this case uncomfortable. You asked good questions then interrupted as he was answering. Look at guest Michael

I so look forward to my Monday morning hiking “date” with these 3 brilliantly witty and charismatic guys! I never miss an episode, and every week, I end up laughing out loud in the forest - alone - like a crazy person! There is such a profound chemistry between these 3, and they make every single guest seem interesting and like someone I need to hear from (even the athletes, whom I would otherwise be uninterested in)! Thank you for giving me this gift every week 🙏🏻.

Love these 3!!! Always so fun!!!
Been listening for a long time and totally love these three hosts! Hilarious and they feel like they could def be friends that you meet up with and hang out - down to earth and relatable. Like I want to go to dinner at Jen Aniston’s house. Ummm…can I call her Jen??? Anyway, imagine my surprise when they interview Brendan Fraser and he comes off as so arrogant and super serious??? I was expecting a laid back funny dude and he def gave stuck up vibes. Dude, you were in Encino Man, slow your roll. Will always listen because these guys rock but I think George of the Jungle needs to take it down a notch.

I love love love these conversations!! I’m rewatching Arrested Development, loved Osarks, would love to see Sean’s musical but it’s not showing in Montana, love your banter and always your guests. I never ever miss an episode!! If you run thru your favorite guests, just start over. But don’t quit—-you are my connection to the “inside” of the industry! Thanks for sharing your friendship!

This brings me so much joy!
I am a latecomer to this podcast, but that’s a great thing because I now have tons of episodes to get me through the day, and I’m catching up fast. I made a deal with myself to listen to EVERY episode, even if I was unfamiliar with the guest, in hopes of getting less “smartless”. Getting smarter, perhaps, may be too lofty a goal, but I am definitely better informed and infinitely more entertained—this is the anthitesis to boring, gloomy, “breaking news” headlines. I walk away in a good mood every single time. It helps if you are comfortable laughing like a lunatic to yourself in public—because that’s what this does to me. And if you have any doubts, take a second to glance at the negative reviews. There are folks out there who simply liveto complain about stuff—I know, shocker! How dare the hosts be funny and to run their podcast in a way that someone disagrees with? Please—this is stellar.
