Love it
Just started listening on a whim and found myself put off by their 90s morning radio dj-esque banter at first, but after a while I found myself laughing out loud with them. They are definitely a bunch of chads with doofy dad type humor but it’s fun! The stories they cover are a plus!

Ben , Henry and Dogmeat
Very informative but also not boring. The banter between Henry and Ben is hysterical and when Dogmeat laughs it cracks me up. I can’t just picture Henry playing air guitar talking about Satan🤣🤣🤣

Avoided this for ages because I was worried it would be loud abrasive men talking over each other. But I ran out of podcasts and decided to give this wildly popular show a chance. It’s like listening to radio disc jockeys doing their worst impersonations of radio disc jockeys.

Just wanted to share the love
I just finished the La llrona episode and I personally loved it, my boyfriend grew up being told that story and so I recognized the name and got excited to hear more about it! I love that you guys really dug deep into the history of it and honestly I listened to it twice in two days just because there was so much information and I was also listening with my boyfriend on the second day cause I couldn’t wait for him to hear it. He was so surprised at how much history went along with it. He said “I thought it was just a simple scary story from my childhood” Great job guys! Keep up the good work! Love you all! ❤️

Great Horror Podcast
MORE BANTER!!!So it took me awhile to get into this one because initially some of the quasi racist/sexist comments were off putting until I realized it was not intended to be so. It’s just 3 white dudes schticking and early on they’re getting their comedic stride and they even address my previous concerns. This is great because it covers a wide array of strange, horrific, ridiculous, dark subjects. Everything from Aliens, Conspiracy theories, Serial Killers, Urban Legends and Myths, and mystery cases of all types. These knuckle heads really grew on me and I really enjoy just binging several episodes at a time and then falling down a Wikipedia rabbit hole about many of their heavy hitters and just bizarre occurrence stories. Please folks who seem like they want an uber serious THIS WAS A TRAGEDY kind of podcast remember THIS IS A COMDEY HORTOR PODCAST it’s not going to be serious all the time duh. Also they do quite a lot of research and my understanding a lot Marcus put out a book. Early on though they were working on developing this podcast. When did folks forget nuance and that people make mistakes they change and grow try a later episode. Did you write a book? Oh no well sit down. If you don’t like it leave a constructive criticism but don’t leave useless “I don’t like their voices” who does that help? Maybe go find some free entertainment elsewhere.

This used to be my favorite podcast. I don’t know what has happened, but Henry makes the show painful to listen to. The constant interruptions and just shouting nonsense. I can’t do it anymore. I guess the 8 years I’ve listened is long enough.

Jokes about pedophilia is not funny
I tried listening to the HH Holmes story. So far, so good until they started to joke about young boys sucking off presidents that’s it! I turned it off. You guys should be ashamed of yourself!

Best podcast out there
I’m catching up on old episodes and one of my favorites is the Donner Party/Oregon trail just because of the “that’s when the cannibalism started”. I didn’t think they were tough to listen to until I got to the Josef Mengele episodes. I didn’t know whether to throw up or cry or both. I appreciate the Home Improvement facts in there. Love you guys!

This show has gone downhill, fast. It’s turned into an alien/side stories show. Just 4 old, fat guys talking over each other. Gave it 5 stars a year ago. Giving it 2 now.

Feels like being in on an inside joke
Took me a few listens to understand the guys’ personalities and senses of humor. Since then, I’ve been a consistent listener for years now. I agree with another reviewer - awesome for listeners with ADHD and a dark sense of humor.
