Click go the shears boys
Great program on the shearer from Bollon, Cunamuulla n the west. Such people do make a difference n great giving them a voice and hearing of their achievements. Hearing from the everyday people brings sanity to the stillness that we are exposed to daily. The two interviewers of this podcast make Conversations worth listening to.

Gary Nunns report needs fact checking
Ok. I love this podcast but heaps of inaccuracies with Gary Nunns interview on 15/9. Firstly the person that the Reagan’s consulted was an astrologer not a psychic. Secondly, Gary is referring to a viral news post that regularly circulates from “NASA” that has been denounced by NASA as it was never released by them and is considered dare I say it, “fake news” - the 13th star sign is reference to what is known as “side real astrology” Vedic astrology of Indian astrology uses 13 signs but since 12th century Western Astrology has known of the 13th sign but stuck with 12 signs. Additionally his references to women and LGBTQIA ppl liking astrology because we are groups that are oppressed is not only anecdotal opinion on his behalf but incredibly condescending white make privilege. Don’t disagree with him about the need fir healthy skepticism and also the reality for charlatans but this report was not in any way fact checkers or factual. It’s the definition of what he has continuously put down through out the podcast.

The best podcast
I have listened to every episode since 2007. This is by far my favourite podcast. I love hearing stories about ordinary people.

Intelligent and moving
A friend recommended Conversations years ago. I became hooked by the intelligent and moving story of Gill Hicks, and have been generally impressed since then. The research that goes into a show is phenomenal (including reading ALL the books), and I like the way Richard and Sarah give their guests the space to express themselves in their own ways. I have learned so much about so many things I would never have enquired into otherwise. Rarely do I stop an episode. Most times I feel smarter in some way, either intellectually or emotionally. Enriched. And I absolutely love Richard’s style. Sometimes his work (in particular - no disrespect intended Sarah) genuinely moves me. In those cases, when he thanks us for listening at the end of a pod, I am moved to thank him back. It’s only fair.

Any Richard Conversation
I thoroughly enjoy Richards intelligence , voice, empathy & prefer him to other interviewers. When I see Richard is name , for me it’s a guarantee of a fabulous hour .I missed him on the show while away , just wasn’t the same. I’m so glad I can enjoy every minute of his hour with him there.

This is such an interesting and informative podcast. The subject area is always surprising and the knowledge base of the interviewers allows the conversation to flow with great insights. Keep up the great work!

Richard 😕
Really wanted to give 5 stars as the content is wonderful. I just find Richard so overbearing. I sometimes won’t continue with the episode when I hear his voice which is such a shame as I have loved every episode. He talks over the guests and while he has a great voice it just feels a little contrived.

I really was enjoying these but now for some reason the episodes sound like they are sped up to a ridiculous pace.

A break from Amuhrica
The interviewers are intelligent, thoughtful, cheeky, and empathetic. They are curious and engaged in others’ stories without applying their own personal morality like we do in the USA. Thanks for showing a different way to be and for keeping me sane over here in the US!
